Genom att ta en andraplats i klassen för under 202 lbs på årets första herrproffstävling, Phoenix Pro, har Ahmad Ahmad nu kvalificerat sig för att delta på Olympia 202 Showdown som går under Olympiahelgen 2010. Stort grattis!

In 202 action, the runner-up at the ’08 Europa Super Show, Roc Shabazz, may be one step closer to his first victory as a pro. But there are no guarantees as Sweden’s Ahmad Ahmad’s condition was strong enough for murmurs in the crowd to declare him a contender.
I Flex Magazines finalrapport berättar Roc (som blev proffs iom sin vinst i den lätta tungvikten på NPC 2004) hur mycket han längtat efter sin första proffsseger:
A first-place finish in the pros has evaded Roc Shabazz — until now. In the 202 class, Shabazz’s dense back could have been the deciding factor in separating him from the runner-up, Sweden’s Ahmad Ahmad. Taking the bronze is Ojex Bola. Rod Ketchens and Eric Castagnet placed fourth and fifth respectively.
”I couldn’t contain myself out there, the last time I had this feeling was winning the ’94 light-heavyweight title at the [NPC] Nationals.
