Motherhood isn’t for everyone, but for those who can and are very good mothers, there is no higher calling for a woman. It’s the power and the gift of life yet motherhood does not come without many sacrifices and being fit has stereotypically been one of them. On this week’s episode of Fitness and Figure Talk radio we have two experts, both of them IFBB Pro athletes and both of them mothers, who disagree, they have proven that being fit and being either pregnant or a new mom are not mutually exclusive.

IFBB Figure competitor Corry Matthews is a world renowned expert on pre and post natal exercise and as of a couple days ago she is a mother. Matthews developed the Pre and Post natal training program for the US Marine Corps. that is still in use world wide. She was also an esteemed member of the Gold’s Gym advisory board for pre and post natal exercise for a number of years.

IFBB Fitness and Figure competitor and owner of the Performance Ready Fitness and Figure Team, Carla Sanchez, is also a recognized expert on fitness who just produced a brand new training video for pre and post natal moms filled with training routines moms can do while pregnant or after birth to get back into shape again.
