Sometimes I do a full body workout, especially if I know that I will miss out on training for a couple of days. Working out major muscle groups (like legs, back and chest) also increase the metabolism a lot and keep the body in a fat burning mode for a long time after the workout is finished. Highly recommended!

Enjoying the Journey
I was just thinking today that life isn't whether or not you are going to be knocked down sometimes, it's what you do when you get back up. It's important to have the ability and daily practice of staying focused on the BIG Picture.
In life, obstacles and adversity are inevitable, but remaining focused on goals, dreams, and enjoying the journey wherever I am at not only gives contentment daily, but it allows me the courage and ability to live strong in pursuit of my dreams and goals.
Likewise, it's Important to have a master plan in life and step by step make small advances everyday, to make every single day count. I am a firm believer that the secret to achieve true success is found in the daily routines…
I don’t have a diet. I have food choices!
Here is a little bit of what goes down daily in the Andersson's Kitchen! I don't like to say I'm consistently on a diet but rather say I make my own food choices… The pictures below is what I eat on a daily basis. Always chicken with veggies during the week, my oats/banana bread and my tuna cakes… Guys? It's not that difficult. Just use your imagination. Use creativity. These meals I make are all healthy, packed with protein, healthy carbs and low calories too!!!

A privilege
I look forward to the gym training every time and instead of seeing it as a punishment (as some actually do) I see it as a privilege to be in complete control of my body and health. I push myself beyond my comfort zone and gain a sense of accomplishment from each workout. If I can push myself mentally through a hard workout, I know I can take on other challenges that life throws in my way…

I love making what I call "Tuna Patties." In Sweden, one might call them "Tonfisk Bullar." But let me tell you, they are healthy and finger licking good! Great to eat with a salad or choice of greens! These are one of my families favorites! What are your favorite foods? Do you keep them healthy? Play around with all your healthy options.
