Workout to live

My workouts are almost a form of meditation. I push myself beyond my comfort zone and gain a sense of accomplishment from each workout. If I can push myself mentally through a hard workout, I know I can take on challenges that life throws my way.

Working out also gives me more power and energy to achieve other important goals throughout my life. So in the end I could say that I don't really live for the workouts, but I workout to live…

Since having my husband in my life, I've learned lots of fitness knowledge. I've gotten to know my body a whole lot, training methods, how to confuse my muscle to get them cut and tone and all this great stuff about the body and food. I've also learned that I'll simply never know my limits unless I push myself to them. He knew I'd be at a point in this fitness journey of mine where I'd l feel like I'm CRAWLING, FALLING, PUKING, CRYING, BLEEDING, & feeling PAIN.

However, one thing he taught me was not to ever QUIT! Quitting is just not ACCEPTABLE to him and to me as well. At the end of the day, he never gives up on me and for that I can never thank him enough.

Look where its gotten me? To be part of such a great fitness team and clothing brand, Swedish Fitness & Better Bodies!!! I feel so privileged to be part of such a great fitness family, Each and every individual on my team are unique in their own way that there's just not choice but to fall in love with them! Thank you baby for always pushing me to my limits, for without you I wouldn't be who I am today! Love you too pieces my tiger!

P.S. My husband Chris has a great blog where he talks all about the real stuff when it comes to fitness, training and food. Fitness and health runs in his blood I swear!!! I mean, he did get me the body I have, so with that said, he's great to follow! Click below!

Body Power’s Pro 2014 Expo in Birmingham, England! Memory Lane!

These expo's… They just keep getting better and better every time I go. I'm meeting more and more people, teammates and fans! Feels great to interact with people that love what I do. I get so pumped up and excited the whole time I'm there. Although I was very tired that week in particular, it was all so worth it! TEMPLE GYM!
In 1962 Temple Gym in Birmingham opened its doors for the first time. Twenty years later it became home to an aspiring young bodybuilder named Dorian Yates Infamous for its hardcore dungeon like setting, Temple Gym built itself a notorious reputation as a serious weight training venue.


Today it remains a Mecca to legions of Temple Gym followers as the 'birthplace' of Britain's first Mr. Olympia 

Dorian went on to purchase Temple Gym in 1987 and continues to play a significant role in its management today.

Proatmeal Pancakes!

Protein + oatmeal = Proatmeal! Want to know what a great combo my supplements with other natural foods can be? =D

Protein pancakes are one hot thing going on in the fitness meals world. Many supplement companies are coming out with an actual pancake mix that makes pancakes with just a scoop of powder and water. However, I personally like to make my own from scratch, for I know every single thing that's going in the mix. But not all protein tastes the same when making pancakes.
